Career Fest Sparks Global Ambitions Among Future Healthcare Professionals

Amid the hum of student chatter and the shuffle of résumés, one question echoed through the halls of Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) this week: What’s next?

To help answer it, Rehman College of Nursing (RCN), Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences (RCRS), and Rehman College of Allied Health Sciences (RCAHS) joined forces to host a high-energy Career Fest—an event designed not just to inform, but to inspire.

Set against the backdrop of a rapidly globalizing healthcare sector, the fest brought together leading career consultancy firms with one clear mission: prepare students for life beyond graduation.

From opportunities in the UK and Gulf countries to pathways into North American licensure, the event was a deep dive into what the future could look like for students in nursing, rehabilitation, and allied health sciences.

Consultants fielded questions about post-graduate programs, skill requirements abroad, and how to stand out in international job markets. Students, armed with curiosity and ambition, responded with thoughtful conversations and eager note-taking.

Director RCN Seelay Sarak Rehman, alongside the principals of RCRS and RCAHS, toured the event and praised the students’ proactive engagement. “We’re not just educating students for today—we’re equipping them for tomorrow, wherever that may be,” she noted.

While the spotlight was on global prospects, the fest also offered practical advice on career planning, interview strategies, and ethical practices in cross-border healthcare.

As the day ended, what lingered wasn’t just information—it was possibility. For many attendees, this was more than a career fest; it was a launchpad.
